POACHED PEARS WITH GRANOLA

Mulled Apple & Ginger Reading POACHED PEARS WITH GRANOLA 1 minute Next RHUBARB & BERRY COMPOTE

Add a little Apple & Ginger juice to spice up your pears. These poached pears pair perfectly with some granola and Greek yogurt for a delicious morning treat. 

INGREDIENTS

5 RIPE PEARS
500ML APPLE & GINGER JUICE
1 TSP VANILLA EXTRACT
HALF A LEMON

Peel & core the pears.

Gently poach for ten minutes in the Apple & Ginger juice, with the juice of the lemon and the vanilla extract.

Cool in the pan allowing the pears to soak up the flavours of the juices and vanilla.

Serve and enjoy!

Cawston Tip:
If you only have a couple of pears just use a little less juice. Leftovers can be sliced and eaten with porridge the next day.
