IT'S OFFICIAL - CAWSTON PRESS TASTES GREAT!

We are very proud to have scooped three awards in the Great Taste Awards 2010 – often described as the ‘Oscars’ of the fine food world and ‘the epicurean equivalent of the Booker prize’.  With over 6,000 entries the competition for these coveted food awards was very strong. All the products are tasted blind by a panel of fine food retailers, chefs, restaurant critics, food writers and other industry experts.

This is what the judges had to say about out three winners:

Apple & Ginger
Good aroma of both apple and ginger. Pleasant balance on the palate - good zing of ginger, but does not dominate the fresh apple flavour which is good. One or two of us would like a further hint of mint!

Apple & Rhubarb
Nice apple aroma. Good balance of apple and rhubarb on the palate. Quite tart and refreshing. Good clean length. Perhaps one to sip gently rather than drink in quantity.

Apple & Beetroot
Flavours are distinct - well balanced.
