Tetra Pak has said that a quarter of UK local councils have introduced kerbside recycling collections for liquid cartons after Watford became the latest council to join the scheme.

The UK consumes a staggering estimated 58,000 tonnes of paper-based beverage cartons each year and the Alliance for Beverage Cartons and the Environment has invested heavily to improve the recycling infrastructure.

Cawston Press juice cartons can now be recycled in 86% of local authorities across the country.
