HOT MULLED APPLE JUICE
On a cold winter’s evening a warm mug of mulled apple juice works wonders. It’s very simple to make and can be enjoyed by all the family – it’s the perfect alternative for kids if you’re making mulled wine for adults. If you want something even quicker, simply warm our Apple & Ginger juice in a saucepan and serve in mugs.
Ingredients
- 2 x Cartons of Cawston Press Apple Juice
- 1 inch knob of fresh ginger
- 1 whole lemon, cut in quarters
- 1 whole orange, cut in quarters
- 1 (2") cinnamon sticks
- Pinch of allspice (optional)
- 4 whole cloves
Instructions
- Combine ingredients in a non-aluminum saucepan.
- Place over a medium heat and bring to a gentle boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer gently for 15 minutes.
- Strain mixture and serve hot in mugs.
- Make sure you let it cool a little especially if you're giving to children.
